Eligible participants:

• Were aged 18 years or over
• Undertake intermittent catheterisation, either yourself (self-catheterisation) or by a caregiver or healthcare worker
• Were likely to be undertaking self-catheterisation for >12 months

What did the study involve?

• Trialing the use of a wipe prior to catheterisation daily over a 12-month period
• Participating in an interview about your experiences of catheterisation
• Completing regular short surveys
